Had been the Professor and Dean from July 01, 2010- June 30, 2012, Faculty of Business Administration, Islamic University, Kushtia, Chairman October 07, 2011 – October 06, 2014, Department of Management at Islamic University, Kushtia; Founder Chairman, Department of Marketing, Islamic University, Kushtia from September 10, 2015 to August 17, 2020; House Tutor (1990-19910, First Resident Hall, Islamic University, Kushtia. Served also as Professor at AIUB (February, 2008- December, 2009), Dhaka and as Professor at Eastern University, Dhaka January, 2010 to June, 2010. A regular contributor to a number of journals and International Seminar, Conference and webinars at home and abroad. Academic interest includes teaching in Management and Marketing and Empirical Research on different branches of Business. Had been the funder member and executive member of Islamic University Teachers’ Association (2017-2018). Funder member of Progressive Teachers’ Forum “Shapla” and executive committee member in many years (1991-2020) and President of Banagbandhu Parsishad (2016-2019). Works with some voluntary secular and progressive socio-cultural and intellectual forums.

Dr. Dhanonjoy Kumar currently works at the Department of Management, Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh as a Professor. He secured the first position with the highest CGPA in both the BBA and MBA from the Department of Management, University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He did complete his PhD from Islamic University, Kushtia in 2016. Dr Kumar does research in Business Administration, Management, Organizational Studies and Human Resource Management, Tourism and Medical Tourism.
